All of our carers are NZQA trained, bringing the right knowledge and skills to deliver safe and professional care. Training is regularly carried out within the home, allowing staff to learn in a practical environment and apply their skills under supervision.

Medical Support
At Cardrona, we provide comprehensive and reliable medical support to ensure the health and wellbeing of every resident. Our care is supported by the Tokoroa Medical Centre, working alongside our experienced Clinical Operations Manager, Katherine McLeod, who oversees all aspects of clinical care within the home.
Our registered nurses carefully manage and administer all medications, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and tailored to each resident’s needs. This ensures safe, accurate, and effective treatment at all times.
We also coordinate access to a wide range of specialist services, including dieticians, speech therapists, podiatrists, and physiotherapists. Additional support services are arranged as required, allowing us to provide a well-rounded and personalised approach to care.
